We look for the most cost-effective ways to deliver aid to people. We support the local economy by purchasing most items in Ukraine with a saving of 5x per package sent from the US.

Maria Oreta was born and raised in Ukraine but moved to the US at the age of 20.

Maria’s heart always belongs to Ukraine where her family and friends live so she created this organization with one mission - to help people in need who are struggling and to take part in the rebuilding process of Ukraine after the victory.
At SUWU she is responsible for social media strategy, content creation, events, and partnerships with other organizations. She went to the same school as Maksym and Tania, 2 of the founders of SUPPORT UKRAINE WITH US.
Maria was born in Kyiv and moved to the U.S. as a refugee when she was a teen.

She has been a marketing executive and led teams at Disney, Meta, and Roblox. She was heartbroken by the news of the war in Ukraine and decided to put her career on hold to create SUPPORT UKRAINE WITH the US. Maria leads strategy, partnerships, and marketing for the organization.
After completing his first year of college, he had an opportunity to move to the U.S. He came to the United States with no English and no resources.

Max was born near Odessa, Ukraine, and lived there for the first 18 years of his life. After completing his first year of college, he had an opportunity to move to the U.S. He came to the United States with no English and no resources. He started working as a technical assistant to put himself through college and learn English. Within 4 years, he went from Los Angeles Pierce College to a UC Berkeley math Ph.D. student.
When the war started Max put his education on hold to create Support Ukraine With Us and concentrate on helping people full-time. As a child, he was raised by a single mother with a small income. They lived in poverty, not always having enough money for food. This experience was life-changing and powerful for him. He developed compassion for humans in need and became compelled to do something to alleviate their suffering. Max has come back to Ukraine in the fall of 2022 to optimize operations and work with volunteers on the ground.
Tetiana was born in Chornomorsk, Odesa region, and went to the same school as Maksym, founder of SUWU.

Tetiana was born in Chornomorsk, Odessa region, and went to the same school as Maksym, founder of SUWU. Tetiana always wanted to help others and put a smile on the face of people who need it most. During her time in Ukraine, she volunteered at homeless shelters, regularly supported animal shelters, participated in initiatives to help orphans, and supported social inclusion projects.
At the beginning of the war, she was in the US visiting her brother and couldn't return home, nor could she stand by without taking any action. She is devoting all her time to the mission of SUPPORT UKRAINE WITH US. Tetiana leads operations, financial reporting, and logistics for the organization.
