What's In a Package

As the war continues to displace people, wreck infrastructure, and disrupt supply chains, one focus for our organization is providing food and essentials to those most vulnerable in Ukraine. When you give to Support Ukraine with Us, 100% of donations go directly to aid for people who need it most in Ukraine. 

Vulnerable populations include the elderly and low income families with kids, in areas most affected by the war. We work with over 200 volunteers on the ground to support food purchase and delivery to these people. In an effort to provide the highest level of transparency, every delivery and purchase is tracked with images and shared with the public. 

These necessities are chosen because they are durable, cost effective, and store well with no heating or cooling. All items are bought locally and shipped by the local post office for the greatest efficiency. 

Below is a list of food and hygiene items that are included in an aid package. Recent packages contained a minimum of 19 items, and the total cost of a package typically is between 25 - 40 USD.  

Our group of volunteers on the ground manages a database of people in need and mails packages directly to their come. These items are all durable goods that are non-perishable and are sent via mail by the Ukrainian postal service. 

We additionally partner with a volunteer organization in Kharkiv, in eastern Ukraine, as well as volunteers in Kyiv to purchase and distribute food to those in need. 

We can’t reach every person affected by this war, but we can provide hope to and alleviate the suffering of those who we can reach.

SUPPORT UKRAINE WITH US has developed a personalized approach to support the needs of Ukraine's most vulnerable individuals and organizations. We are a San Francisco-based 501(c)(3) non-profit working to deliver food, medicine, and other supplies to each individual or entity to specify the needs and provide the required aid. We offer alternative ways to invest your time if you are not local to the Chernikiv and Kharkiv regions but want to donate resources abroad.
